FAQ

How do I schedule, move or cancel an appointment?

Please use the my booking site to schedule, reschedule and cancel all appointments whenever possible. You can find the link to my booking site on my website and social media pages for your convenience.

Am I required to schedule a consultation before my first service?

You're not required to schedule a consultation before your first appointment, but it can be helpful if you're unsure about which service is best for your skin concerns. For advanced treatments like microneedling, chemical peels, or laser treatments, a consultation is recommended. Some clients also schedule a facial to discuss these advanced options in more detail.

How often should I get a facial?

For optimal skin health, I recommend getting a facial every 4-8 weeks. However, this may vary depending on your skin condition and treatment goals. I can customize a detailed treatment plan to help you achieve more long term treatment goals.

What is your late arrival policy?

In order to respect all of my clients' time, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, I will ask you to reschedule. This will be noted as a no-show or late cancellation. Please know that this policy is in place to ensure I can provide the best possible service to everyone, and to be fair to clients who arrive on time.

Do you offer Gift Cards?

Yes, I do offer gift cards! Marcie Tolito Esthetics, along with Rejuvenate Health, provides gift cards for all cash services offered at both locations. Gift cards can be purchased at the front desk of Rejuvenate Health during normal business hours.

What are some reasons I would have to reschedule my treatment?

Some, but not all, reasons to reschedule your treatment include an active fever blister or cold sore, contagious illness, extreme compromised skin barrier such as sun or wind burn, having received an injectable like filler or relaxant (Botox, Dysport) in the last 2 weeks or if you are being treated or have been treated with Accutane in the last 6 months. This is not a comprehensive list, please review all documentation sent prior to your appointment for all contraindications related to the service you are receiving.

Do you accept walk-ins?

I do not accept walk-ins at Marcie Tolito Esthetics. All services are by appointment only to ensure a personalized and relaxing experience. Thank you for understanding!

What skincare products do you use?

I use high-quality, professional-grade skincare products that are selected based on your skin type and concerns. If you're interested in purchasing products for home use, I can recommend the best options for you. Currently I am carrying Skinbetter Science, Hydrinity, Dermalogica, VI Derm, Elta MD and Coola.

What is your cancellation policy?

At Marcie Tolito Esthetics, I understand that life happens—emergencies and sickness can arise unexpectedly. However, as this is a small, appointment-based business, I require a 48-hour notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. This policy allows me to have adequate time to fill the spot you reserved in advance and continue providing quality service to all my clients. If the proper notice is not given, the appointment will be noted as a no-show or late cancellation.

Am I required to fill out treatment forms prior to every appointment?

Yes, it is very important that clients fill out the treatment forms sent prior to every appointment. These forms help ensure your safety and allow me to customize treatments to your specific needs. They provide essential information about your health and skin, which helps me deliver the best and safest service possible.

Can I receive treatments if I’m pregnant?

Yes! I can offer pregnancy-safe facials and treatments. Please inform me of your pregnancy when booking so I can customize your service accordingly.

How can I maintain my results at home?

Consistent home care is key! I can recommend a skincare regimen that complements your treatments. Using professional-grade products, staying hydrated, and applying SPF daily will help maintain healthy skin.
